About

A practical operating toolkit for New Zealand volunteer-run clubs.

NZ Club Builder helps committees turn discussion into agreed plans, named responsibilities, costed projects and repeatable delivery.

Built for committees that need

  • Clear decisions
  • Simple working documents
  • Transparent budgets
  • Named accountability
  • Reusable evidence
  • Less reliance on one person

What this site is for

  • Set one defined club ambition.
  • Build a reusable evidence pack.
  • Match funding routes to real projects.
  • Package sponsor value.
  • Assign volunteer roles clearly.
  • Separate cost centres and reporting.
  • Prepare member papers and approvals.
  • Run the season with a manual, not memory.

What it is not

NZ Club Builder is not a funder, broker, government service, lawyer, accountant or guarantee of funding.

The worksheets create working drafts. Clubs remain responsible for checking official forms, legal authority, tax treatment, funder criteria, safeguarding, health and safety and governing body requirements.

How the tools work

Guided planners

Use these when the answer is unclear. They break a large committee question into smaller prompts and identify unfinished work.

Worksheets

Use these when decisions are known. They save locally in the browser and can be copied, downloaded or printed.

Module guidance

Use the main pages to understand the operating principles before completing the documents.
